Casa Boher, Uco Valley

The old wine estate, which was founded in the year 1900 by Bernardo Martínez, Alejandro Martínez Rosell’s grandfather, was about to be demolished, but finally recovered in 1999 and today nearly three decades on we can celebrate 100+ vines that are beautifully crafted.

Spencer Block, Mendoza

Eric and Michael Spencer are two Kiwis who love good wine. 'Life’s too short to drink bad wine' is an expression they’ve always championed. Spencer Block Wines was created by Eric and Michael with the vision of sourcing and making wines of the highest quality for their customers. 

Both Eric and Michael have a long history in the wine industry. Eric is a former shareholder in Desert Heart wines which is located on Felton Road, in Bannockburn, Central Otago. After selling his Desert Heart shareholding, Eric acquired a vineyard in the celebrated Uco Valley, in Mendoza, Argentina.  Michael has many years experience as a wine professional, working in restaurant hospitality and wine sales and distribution.
